Please note that Motivation Highland does not guarantee the effectiveness of treatment in any individual cases.

'Some clients are more readily hypnotisable than others and this will depend upon one’s willingness to be hypnotised at the time. This willingness will itself depend upon a number of factors, not least of which will be the strength of the person’s particular needs.

Even where a person feels that they have not been hypnotised, given time (and this is a very important factor), the desired outcome of therapy might yet materialise. This matter of time is especially important in our current society, which has, in many respects, been coerced into believing that gratification of every desire should be instantaneous. Hypnotherapy can be extraordinarily effective but it is not magic. However, if the right ingredients are present, if the time is right and if a suitable practitioner can be found with whom the client is willing to work, then all their (realistic) goals are achievable.' (General Hypnotherapy Register)

It is important to understand that Hypnotherapy, NLP and the other associated techniques are not a 'magic pill'. Therapy requires that the client be committed to change and be prepared to make the effort to make that change a reality. You may be asked to listen to audio recordings (which will be provided for you) or to complete other tasks between session. These are designed to help you gain the most benefit and not doing these is likely to reduce the effectiveness of your results.

Please note that due to the uniqueness of each client and the considerable variation in the level of difficulty in every problem, there is no hard and fast rule that can provide the exact time scales and level of improvement that will be achieved.

The simpler problems can sometimes be overcome in one or two sessions. Wherever possible, I will endeavor to provide a fair assessment of how much improvement you can expect and how many sessions you may need by the end of the initial consultation.
